After breakfast, we would leave for Pondicherry by road, en-route visit the Kanchipuram, the old capital of the Pallava dynasty. Continue our journey to Pondicherry, once a French colony but shades of colonization is still visible. After check in, we would proceed for the visit of Sri Aurobindo Ashram and cycle rickshaw ride to explore the town of Pondicherry. Return to hotel. Stay overnight

Drive all the way to Thanjavur after breakfast. Afternoon we would visit of the beautiful Brihadishwara temple, Bronze Gallery and Royal palace. Stay overnight at the hotel.

We would start our journey to the beautiful town of Chettinad, famous for its beautiful houses and even better world famous Chettinad cuisines. We would leave in the afternoon for visit of this village by foot or even by bi-cycles, exploring the beautiful village. Return to hotel and stay overnight.

After breakfast, we would drive to Periyar or Thekkady, South India’s most popular world life sanctuary. The journey from Madurai to Periyar takes you through some breath taking landscapes. After check in at hotel, you may choose to explore the facilities offered and organized by the hotels, like boat trip on the Periyar Lake, soft trekking in the Periyar sanctuary or completely relax at the hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, we would proceed by road to Kumarakom, going downhill through some amazing sites and plantations. After check in, spend the day at leisure. Optionally you can go for Ayurvedic massages offered by hotels. Stay overnight at hotel.

After breakfast we would explore the city of Kochi or Cochin, made of gaggle of Willingdon Island, Fort Cochin, Mattancheery etc. The city has a perfect blend of the giant fishing nets from China, 400 year old synagogue, ancient mosque, Portuguese houses and influence of the British raj. Our visit would take us to the Fort Cochin area the Synagogue, the St Francis Church, Chinese fishing nets, Dutch cemetery and Mattancherry Palace. Return back to hotel in the evening and stay overnight.

The day would start with breakfast and later we would leave for a day excursion to Trichy. Visit the rock fort temple and the Ranganathaswamy temple. Return back to Thanjavur in the evening. Stay overnight.

After breakfast, we would proceed with our journey to Madurai, the soul of Tamil Nadu, a 4th century BC town. After check in at hotel, we would be proceeding for the visit of Sri Meenakshi temple, Tirumalai Nayak Palace and the beautiful market around the Meenakshi temple. Return to hotel. Stay overnight.

After breakfast, you may opt to go for a spice plantation visit in Periyar, the area is incredibly naturally gifted to some of the most popular spices grown here. It is also known as the garden of spice of India. Spend the rest of the day at leisure and stay overnight at the hotel.

Board a rice boat for cruise from Kumarakom to Alleppey. While travelling through the narrow canals you would be experiencing the life along the backwaters of Kerala. After disembarkation at Alleppey we would head further to Cochin, also called as Venice of the east. Check in at hotel, after noon at leisure. Evening, we would visit the Kathakali show, a classical dance form of Kerala. Stay overnight back at hotel.

After breakfast, you would be picked from hotel and transferred for your flight or train to next destination or return.
