Maavalan, on its part supports the clause of the GiveIndia, an NGO, nourishing a noble cause against the flight of global warming. Carbon footprint is a measure of the impact our activities have on the environment. Global warming and climate change are direct results of an increase in fuel consumption and subsequent release of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) in the air. Approximately 225 Kg. of CO2 is emitted for about 1200-1500 Km. of air distance & similar while travelling by other means of transport.

To help reduce Carbon Footprint when you travel with us, a small donation you make to Seva Mandir, an NGO that works in the field of a forestation in Rajasthan,India will lead to more trees being planted. For every tree planted, more that 20 Kg.of CO2 is absorbed yearly. Maavalan Travels will collect your donation amount and forward it to the NGO GiveIndia for further processing.
